FAQ About Kratom
Kratom is the informal name given to a species of tree native to the southeast Asia region.
The Kratom tree grows wild in places like Malaysia, Myanmar, Papua New Guinea, Thailand, and Indonesia. It is often cultivated in controlled environments, too, and its leaves are harvested for the 40+ naturally occurring compounds that are found in the plant.
After the Kratom leaves are harvested, they are put through a very specific drying process which results in varied alkaloid profiles, color hues, and resulting effects when ingested.
Kratom from Kat’s Botanicals is ground into a fine powder (or crushed if desired) to be consumed in whatever way works best for you. Kratom in any form is not currently approved by the FDA, and several states have already banned this plant.
Can I use Kratom Legally?
Kratom laws vary from state to state, and even from township to township, in some cases. Therefore, it is important for you to learn about what Kratom-related laws are in place where you live before attempting to acquire Kratom for personal use.
If you live in a state where Kratom is legal, then as long as you are 18 years of age or older, you can buy and use Kratom legally.
There are some countries that have comprehensive bans on the importation of Kratom, but not on the possession or use of Kratom (the UK is a good example).
vKratom only ships Kratom to customers in the contiguous United States where Kratom is legal to obtain, possess, and use.
The FDA has not approved kratom for supplemental usage, but you can still find it in myriad forms all across the United States.
